Here are my thoughts on DAH.

Intriguing, exhausting, and utterly inspiring best describe my experience at the acting and voice workshop with DAH.  At any one moment during the three hours, I was moving my body, often times in ways I have never moved before, my mind was racing, and I was surrounded by classmates going on similar journeys as myself.  The room was vibrant and electric.  I was forced to see just what it takes to be a professional actor and the amount of energy, physical and emotional, it takes to live such a life.  Maya is very passionate about her work and her dedication seeps from her, and all of us where impacted by her spirit.  I thoroughly appreciated her honesty and high expectation, for it was through that, that progress was made, and I walked out of that workshop having gained something.  I am still processing what exactly I gained, but those thoughts will be with me for years to come.  I can only hope that the aches in my body don't last as long.  Truly an awe-inspiring experience.

The starting point is work with different skills and techniques, which help in the formation of the actor's physical and vocal training. This leads to the creation of materials which can be used for the performance. The central theme to be explored in the workshop is the history of the place where the workshop takes place in relation to the personal histories of the participants.

DURATION:
3 or 5 days- informative / One to three weeks with public presentation at the end
