Fixing the Future Award – Climate Innovation by Austrian Radio ö1


DANCING TREES is one of the five international projects awarded by the FIXING THE FUTURE program of the Austrian radio Ö1. The Directorate for International Cultural Affairs in Austria invited us to present the project at the Festival
of Innovations Future Market in Graz, from October 1 to 3, 2021.

ArtTrema Fest Awards


The Art Trema Fest Ruma festival awarded the play “The Riddle of the Revolution” – the Silver Trema Mask for the author’s project, the Plaque for the total design of the play, and the Audience Award.

The award is given by the SEFEM organization – Section for Feminist Studies and Masculinity Studies.

2012


 Award from the

“Jelena Šantić” Foundation


The “Jelena Šantić” Foundation Award for 2012 was given to Dah Teatar – Center for Theater Research, for activities and results achieved in 2011. The award is given in memory of Jelena Šantić and as an incentive to connect
social values – tolerance and preservation of peace through artistic achievements.

The award was presented on March 18, 2012, to Dijana Milošević, director and co-founder of Dah Teatar.







2009


ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration


The international jury of the ERSTE Foundation Social Integration Award 2009 selected Dah Teatar’s project “In/Visible City”, among 1300 projects that competed, as one of twenty organizations
and projects in Southeast Europe that received the award for 2009.

On June 25, 2009, in Bucharest (Romania), at the award ceremony, the award was received on behalf of the theater by actor Jugoslav Hadžić and actress Sanja Krsmanović Tasić.






The project “In/Visible City” was given as an example as one of the most successful projects of intercultural dialogue in 2008 by the European Institute for Comparative Cultural Research (ERICarts).




2008


“Grozdanin kikot” Award


International award for contribution to the development of dramatic education “Grozdanin kikot” to Djani Milošević.

The international jury consisting of: Marko Kovačević (BiH), Maria van Bakelen (Netherlands), Ljubica Beljanski-Ristić (Serbia), Stig Eriksson (Norway) and Vladimir Krušić (Croatia), decided that in addition to Dijana Milošević, the award should be given to: Iva Gruić
from Croatia, Marina Katnić-Bakaršić from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Parasuram Ramamoorthi from India. And the Special Award was given to: The International Theater School Jacqes Lecoq from France.







2007


“Otto Rene Castillo” Award


On May 21, 2007, in New York (USA), the award ceremony was held, attended by directors Dijana Milošević and Jadranka Andjelić, as well as actress Maja Mitić.

The award is given by the Castillo Theater, from New York, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting human rights and development through the use of theater. This award was established in 1998 with the aim of supporting the development of political theater
in the world.

Over the years, artists such as Lorie Anderson, Bob Wilson, Joseph Chaikin, the group El Teatro Campesino, The Living Theatre, as well as our Center for Cultural Decontamination, have been recipients of this award.







1997


Euđenio Barba shared his “Luigi Pirandello International Prize” with DAH Teatar


The famous director of Odin Teatar, Euđenio Barba, shared his award with directors Dijana Milošević and Jadranka Andjelić and DAH Teatar in support of independent theater troupes.







1994


Award for

best play at the Yugoslav New Theater Festival

“Malo Pozorje”


Dah Teatar received the award for the best play at the Yugoslav New Theater Festival “Malo Pozorje” for the play “Zenit” directed by Dijana Milošević and Jadranka Anđelić.







1989


Award for best direction of the play

“At the Eternal Tap”


Award for best direction to Jadranka Anđelić and Dijana Milošević at the Vojvodina Theater Festival and the award for best play at the Mladenovac Theater Festival for the play “At the Eternal Tap”

The graphic from the poster of this play, designed by Dragan Stojanovski, became the logo of Dah Teatar, which the directors founded in 1991.
