PROLOGUE
On the occasion of International Human Rights Day 2022, we present the program of the PROLOG festival ART AND HUMAN RIGHTS [June 2023].

During the Prologue we will try to answer one of the burning questions: What can art and activism do in the light of human rights violations today?
We will talk with guest artists and activists from Iran, Russia, Israel and America with whom we share the same feeling that the situation on the world level is frightening and that we need to react urgently. Emergencies require quick, effective intervention to overcome a critical situation. In our case, dealing with art, we will try not only to contemplate and talk, but to offer all our resources and strength to actively participate together in the resistance against injustice, against war and the entire passivated state of the human spirit. In light of that, we want to offer another narrative, to illuminate and show what we can still do, what artists have been doing on the world stage for years, and that what they do and how it makes sense, works and provides hope.
