ART AND HUMAN RIGHTS
The second in order, the festival starts on February 24th and lasts until February 27th, and it is designed as a platform for launching and presenting ideas and concepts that put and connect art and human rights in the foreground, advocate for respect for human rights, the rights of all living beings, as well as the development of that idea in Serbia.
ART IN ACTIONS
This year's edition has a subtitle Art in action with the aim of encouraging and empowering citizens to take an active role in changes in their communities, for artists and defenders of human rights to connect with each other, but also with the wider community. The festival includes individuals and organizations that work on the international stage and in our country, communicates with citizens, revitalizes communities and connects diversity.
On the program are: workshops, installation, performances, concerts, talks, conference "Art and culture in the affirmation of human rights”, film premiere and book promotion.
Festival participants come to Belgrade from Spain, Israel, Montenegro, Kosovo, Ireland and Serbia, and artists from Iran, Belgium and Brazil will join us and present their work online.
The festival opened with an interactive multimedia installation by DAH Theater, TI YOU MUST BE A ZENITHIST! designed for gallery/museum spaces that reflects the legacy of the authentic avant-garde art movement from our area - Zenitism.
The program is held live at several locations in Belgrade: UK Parobrod, N.EON gallery, Dorćol Platz, Mestašce, Ilija M. Kolarc Foundation, KROKODIL and the National Theater in Belgrade, while observing all health measures and the permitted number of gatherings.
