INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
DAH Theater has fostered international cooperation since its foundation and creates projects and performances with international participants as well as in cooperation with colleagues from different countries.
Trojans-REPLICA 2023
A project of cooperation and co-production between DAH Theater and Artpolis from Pristina, which will create a theatrical play TROJAN WOMAN-REPLICA based on Euripides' tragedy TROJAN WOMEN, co-directed by Zana Hodža and Dijana Milošević. The performance is a process consisting of a combination of workshops, rehearsals, presentations, dialogues in the community.
ART CARAVAN 2021
On the occasion of Europe Day, the EU Delegation in Serbia and DAH Theater connect artists from Europe with citizens in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Subotica, Vršac, Pirot, Valjevo, Užice, Negotin, Kragujevac and Kruševac. The Art Caravan brings the "doors" of cities from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Romania.
SMALL ACTS OF APOCALYPSE 2010/2011
Collaboration between Dijana Milošević and Kathy Randels, Art Spot Productions (New Orleans, USA) on research on the topic of "how to intervene at the scene of an accident", entitled Small Acts of Apocalypse.
INTERPLAY 2004/2005
Collaboration between NEW DRAMATISTS from New York and DAH Theater Center for Theater Research.
DAH Theater is part of a project initiated by the organization New Dramatists - a house for artists and playwrights from New York. It is an exchange project of playwrights from the USA, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Serbia. The partners are the National Theater in Budapest, the International Theater Institute in Prague and the DAH Theater in Belgrade.
LOOKING INSIDE 2002/2003
From June 2002 to April 2003, the DAH Theater Center for Theater Research hosted cultural experts and managers, who want to apply innovative work models based on research into cultural practice in other environments in their organizations or institutions. The work of the DAH Theater of the Center for Theater Research was observed by guests from Azerbaijan, Poland, Russia, Mongolia and Armenia.
With the support of the Fund for Open Society Belgrade and in cooperation with the Institute for Open Society Budapest.
CIRCLES OF KNOWLEDGE 2002/2003
The project took place through a series of workshops, lectures and meetings involving artists and experts from our country, the region and the world. It is intended for young NGO leaders, young artists and students with the aim of informing them about organization, financing, networking and ways of survival of artists. Lecturers from: Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, USA, Great Britain, Netherlands.
Participating organizations: REX Cultural Center, Bitef Theater, Center for Permanent Education, Association of Independent Theaters from Belgrade, Mostar Youth Theater, Magdalena Project, Concept Conference - Britain, 7 Stages Theater, USA. With the support of ARTS AND CULTURE NETWORK PROGRAMME-OSI Budapest.
WHEN THE ANGELS OF HAVEN SAW THE DAUGHTERS OF MAN 2000
The project in which the actresses Sanja Krsmanović Tasić and Maja Mitić participated with American actors and musicians directed by Eric Ehn, a writer from the USA who initiated the project produced by the University Mainstage Theater Iowa. The Book of Genesis was the starting point for this project, which is described as "a love story on a spiritual level."
LANDSCAPE OF MEMORIES 2000
A performance directed by Jadranka Andelić that included Spanish actors - Juan Loriente and Nekane Santamaria, Italian set designer - Antonella Diana and our musicians and composers - Boris Kovač, Miloš Matić and Goran Penić. The performance dealt with the theme of memory on a personal and historical level. "How can memories, especially difficult ones, become energy for a different future?" Complete oblivion or stagnation in the past are two extremes, and art can transform memory in a way that opens the door to the future. Artistic expression can transform painful memories into understanding the complexity of life and accepting changes in the future. Production INFANT Festival Novi Sad.
DREAM STATION 1999
Directed by Dijana Milošević and Geddy Aniksdal (Greenland Free Theater) from Norway. The play was specially created on the occasion of the beginning of the new Millennium and played on December 31, 1999 in Porsgrund, Norway with an international group of theater artists.
PLAY AGAINST VIOLENCE 1999 – 2003
For a number of years, DAH Theater has worked with a group of young people as part of the "Play Against Violence" project of the European Cultural Foundation - the Art For Social Change program. The results of this project were shown at the Prague (2002) and Pretapanje (2003) festivals organized by the Association of Independent Theaters (ANET) from Belgrade, which was part of the same project.
THE NATASHA PROJECT [ART SAVES LIFE] 1992 – 2000
The Natasha Project is an international network founded in 1992 by theater artists and groups from Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands and Yugoslavia, among which was Dah Theater.
Meetings of the Natasha Project network took place in various forms - festivals, workshops, cooperation.
