FASHIORATION
Fashioration is an Erasmus+ project aiming to create a method to support young designers and empower them to start their own business.[2022-2023]
The focus of the project is on the modernization of cultural heritage and tradition, the ways in which they can be modernized with modern means and breathe new life into them. In this way, we will bring the tradition closer to the younger generations and thus save it from oblivion. The project will develop such a methodology that will train and develop the skills of young people. The coordinator of the project is KENTRO SPOUDON LAIKOU THEATROU from Athens, and in addition to DAH Theater, partners from Greece - Action Synergy SA, Montenegro - Foundation for the Promotion of Science "PRONA", Albania - Together For Life Society and Bosnia and Herzegovina - BOSNIAN REPRESENTATIVE ASSOCIATION FOR VALUABLE OPPORTUNITIES (Bravo) are participating in the project.

a two-day workshop dedicated to the modern interpretation of folk costumes of the Balkans, March 11 and 12, 2023.
The workshop is intended for students of secondary art and vocational schools in the field of textiles and clothing, as well as students of art faculties.
On the first day, participants will get to know the historical context and segments of national costumes represented in our region through a tour of the permanent exhibition of the Ethnographic Museum, after which they will have the opportunity to create their own fashion sketches inspired by elements of national costumes. On the second day, based on the collected material and inspiration, the participants will individually or in groups realize one item of clothing (or a model of an item of clothing). The best works will be exhibited as part of the fashion exhibition in Belgrade and Athens.
Workshop leaders are Ph.D. and costume designer Ivana Tomić, master of costumes for opera and ballet and illustrator Danilo Cerović and master applied artist Ferenc Varga. Curator Ana Stanimirović will guide the participants through the permanent exhibition of the Ethnographic Museum.
The project was supported by the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union
