PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH

DAH Theater has over three decades of experience in promoting multicultural dialogue, tolerance and democratic values through contemporary theatre, informal education and participatory artistic methodologies.

Arts-based education is an important pillar of the organization's mission, focusing on empowering young and experienced artists to think critically about democratic values, human rights, social inclusion and conflict transformation through creative and experiential approaches to learning. These programs create safe and inclusive environments where participants from different social and cultural backgrounds can explore different social challenges.

DAH Theater organizes workshops for youth and communities that encourage creative thinking about peace — for example, workshops that encourage young people to question what positive peace means and how art can be a tool for social transformation. These workshops empower participants to connect artistic expression with empathy and civic engagement.
