DAH TeatAr Center for Researching CULTURE AND SOCIAL CHANGES has been participating in projects SUPPORTED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION since 2010, as a project leader or partner in implementation.
STORYLINE DISCOVERY
2025-2027
The project focuses on the needs of young people, aged 12 to 26, in Sweden, Serbia and Slovenia. We focus on theater practices and workshops that engage young people intellectually, aesthetically and emotionally, while designing theatrical and multimedia tools. The activities of three organizations (Theatron Theater, DAH Theater, Koper Teatro Capodistria) encourage "observers" to take action, bringing life stories to the stage, solving social challenges, such as migration, exclusion, discrimination, difficulties in integration. Supported by the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union.
FADO 2025 – 2027
FADO stands for Finding Assistance, Delivering Outreach: a comprehensive support system for victims of gender-based violence. The main goals of the project are: support for individuals facing gender-based discrimination, violence, machismo and stereotypes; empowering victims and encouraging them to share their experiences through theater techniques, raising community awareness, as well as empowering them to become facilitators for other groups. Supported by the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union.
UNDER 600, 2025
The project aims to create a platform for the independent theater sector in the Western Balkans. The Association for Cultural-Artistic and Educational Action - Štrih (Skopje, Macedonia), and its partners DAH Theater and Korifej Theater (Kolašin, Montenegro) enable networking and cooperation opportunities and promote independent theater productions in order to increase visibility and attract new audiences in the Western Balkans. MYndTHEATRE 2024-2026
The MYndTheatre project aims to promote the mental health of young people through the Forum Theater methodology as a response to the threats present in the digital environment. The project focuses on developing key skills in young people that enable them to better protect their emotional and psychological state during online interactions and mitigate any negative impact on their real life. Supported by the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union.
TREES 2024-2026
Raising environmental awareness through the performing arts, this project supported by the Creative Europe program is based on transferring the approach of the Dancing Trees project, DAH Teatra [coordinator], to the European level. It will include the creation of new theater performances in six European countries and the organization of three international festivals where all performances will be presented to the audience of the host country.
HOPE 2024-2026
HOPE - History of Peace for Education through Theater has the main goal to develop the capacities of youth workers and educators in the Balkan region to present history in a creative and exciting way with a focus on the peaceful times that were and can be. This ERASMUS+ project, coordinated by the DAH Theatre, includes international training workshops for youth workers and young people at the local level.
STREATER 2023-2025
The focus of the project is on the training of cultural workers for live broadcasting of performances via the Internet (live streaming). The aim of the project is to empower the professional education sector, in partner countries, to develop and provide specialization courses for theater professions in the field of live streaming.
SPECTACOLO 2023-2025
The project aims to develop the skills of certain theater professions (lighting designers, sound designers, broadcast streaming specialists, video technicians, set and costume designers, make-up artists) in order to modernize and improve the offer of professional education in these fields.
HEDA 2022-2024
HEDA the project will convey to teachers and educators a method through theater that helps students to think about social phenomena, and/or social behaviors, to gain awareness of the society in which they will join and participate, work and create as responsible, conscious citizens.
FASHIORATION 2022-2023
A project that aims to create a method that will be useful for young designers to start their own fashion business by drawing from the history and tradition of their country with modern methods, and especially with a modern look, avoiding folklore, creating clothes and pfashion accessories and contemporary pret a porte.

DAH Theater is the coordinator of a project that uses theater techniques as a tool to solve the problem of gender-based violence against women and girls, which has especially increased due to the Covid19 pandemic. The goal of the project is to empower high school teaching staff to organize theater workshops in order to raise awareness about gender-based violence live in schools, but also on social networks.
MOVING MEMORIES
2020-2022
This project is a response to history and its destruction in the 20th century. The MOMEM/Moving Memories project brings together museum experts, trainers, teachers, cultural workers and scientists from six countries. Their contributions are focused on times of profound changes in society (transformation) and how they are discussed today.
STARDUST

The goal of the "Stardust" project is to build business capacities in the performing arts sector by proposing the creation of a customized, multifaceted curriculum for entrepreneurship that will have specific modules adapted to the needs of different groups of performers: musicians, dancers and actors.

In the project, we aim to find new ways, not only to help people understand the climate crisis, but also what we as citizens can do to change behavior and contribute to the overall solution for a healthier planet. Without diminishing the seriousness of the issues, we deal with them in a new thoughtful, humorous and educational context, in a satirical way.

ACADEMY OF THE FUTURE ON TOUR IN EUROPE – FATE, aims to create a link between new migrants, refugees and EU citizens through arts training, inclusion and increasing employment opportunities in the arts sectors. The goal is to increase interest in the employability of talented / professional creative migrants and refugees.
EQUALITY AMBASSADORS
2020-2023
Equality Ambassadors is a project that promotes democracy, equality and human rights through creativity and new digital technologies. It brings together five partner organizations from: Ireland, Croatia, Serbia, Greece and Spain that work with young people, mostly marginalized ones.
ART AND HUMAN RIGHTS 2019 – 2022
Art for Human Rights is a three-year transnational partnership project that uses the creative processes of theatre, film and new digital technologies to promote learning and raise awareness of human rights and gender equality across Europe.
Wall Jumper 2018 – 2020
The "Wall Jumpers" project originates from the idea of a "wall" that is considered a division in a social, political, but also individual sense. The goal is to overcome walls through art, promote dialogue through creative and artistic experience, choosing the street as a place of conflict, meeting and artistic expression.
Rights4Kids 2018 – 2020
The goal of the "Children's Rights" project is to raise awareness about the rights of children/young people; to bring young people from sensitive groups closer to the theater by enabling them to participate in the development of theater performances, not only as an audience, but also as participants.
Outside the Chapter 2017 – 2020
The main goal of the project "Beyond the Chapter: Accessing Diversity" is to contribute to the processes of EU accession and reforming society in Serbia through the application of EU norms and standards that promote cultural diversity as well as participatory democracy.
Women in an equal Europe 2016-2017
Using a creative process and a feminist framework to research and reflect on the experiences of women living in the European Union and the power of EU policies to promote gender equality, human rights and inclusion. This transnational project includes four European partners from Ireland, Spain, Croatia and Serbia and uses the creative approaches of theater and film as well as online resources in order to promote a greater understanding of women's rights and the positive changes that have occurred in the field of gender equality as a result of belonging to the European Union.
In/Visible City
Starting from the fact that our cities, in their distant past, and especially today, were multi-ethnic cities, with a large number of inhabitants of different origins and cultures, and that this awareness faded due to the onset of crises and wars that created multi-ethnic tensions, not understanding, we created a project that began in 2005 and deals with the promotion of different ethnic cultures that coexist today.
FOCUS - For Culture in Serbia 2013 - 2015
Dah Theater and Group 484, found themselves on the task of "conquering public space" for the needs of culture and art in Kruševac, Vranje, Novi Pazar and Užice, together with professionals, activists, collaborators, colleagues and friends from the independent cultural and artistic scene, cultural institutions and schools.
STRENGTHENED 2012 – 2013
A project to empower young women to monitor government policies in the field of gender equality. The aim of the project is to create a regional partnership of civil society organizations that will contribute to the implementation of laws on gender equality, policies and action plans in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Networking Memories 2011 - 2012
The purpose of the project is to create a new and sustainable network between 8 civil society organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Kosovo and Serbia (Dah Theater), which aims to involve citizens in the conception and implementation of joint activities.
