The aim of the project is to create a regional partnership of civil society organizations that will contribute to the implementation of laws on gender equality, policies and action plans in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. [2012]

As part of the project, training will be held with the aim of empowering young women to monitor government policies in the field of gender equality, which consists of four workshops.

The age of the workshop participants is from 18 to 35 years old. Young activists are welcome, as well as young people who are interested in becoming activists. An important moment is the participation of male members, who are interested in supporting their female colleagues in exposing discriminatory practices in the mentioned countries.

The project

As part of the project, training will be held with the aim of empowering young women to monitor government policies in the field of gender equality, which consists of four workshops:

ART WORKSHOP (DOCUMENTATION) - April 9, 10 and 11, 2012.

GENDER TRAINING - April 27 and 28, 2012.

ORGANIZATIONAL TRAINING (FASCILITATION TRAINING) – May 9 and 10

CITIZEN'S VOICE AND CITIZEN ACTION (CVA TRAINING) - beginning of August 2012.

The film “OsnaŽena”

The film "OsnaZena" [2012], created from the project "Empowerment of young women to monitor government policies in the field of gender equality" and tells about an individual and collective activist "journey" and the articulation of demands for equality between women and men, to break the silence about violence.

The director of the film, Elmedin Bišić, graduated from the Broadcast College in Brussels. Winner of several first prizes, and the film "Shadow", for which he wrote the screenplay, won two first places in Italy and China. So far, he has made ten short feature films, some of which have been shown at international festivals, among others in Belgium, Italy, China, Switzerland, Pakistan, Finland.

Exhibition "Women's Mirror - Reflections of Her Reality"

The exhibition presents the works of young authors who participated in art and photography workshops, where they dealt with topics and issues of gender, organized by the informal group Drugarice i Drugovi. After workshops and discussions on topics such as gender-based violence, human trafficking, portrayal of women in the media, safety on the Internet, young women, high school and university students, shared their experiences and knowledge, which they later transferred to photographs.
