INVISIBLE CITY 2011/2012
The project that started in 2005 in Belgrade continued its life in European cities as well. In 2012, the project became international and wants to contribute to the normalization of relations between different ethnic communities throughout Europe and to contribute to the development of a multicultural civil society based on tolerance.
Denmark, Great Britain, Macedonia and Serbia
The project Un/Vidiljvi Grad 2012 consists of performances in city transport buses in four countries - Serbia, Denmark, Great Britain and Macedonia. They "tell" the multi-ethnic history of the cities where the play takes place. It includes cultural exchange and debates about inter-ethnic tolerance. Through these activities, we remind you that culture, history, state and everyday life are interwoven with the influences of different cultures and that the cities we live in today were created by the work and creativity of the citizens who lived there, regardless of ethnicity. The project develops awareness that with the spread of democratization, the need for tolerance grows.
