THE SECRET LIFE OF THE ARBORETUM
Ambient performance by DAH Theater in the Arboretum of the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade
At the points in the Arboretum, the audience meets the actors and dancers of the DAH Theater, audio and visual installations, which will talk about the importance and meaning of the natural environment, which includes both nature and a sense of freedom and connection with the community. The audience attends scenes, installations and performances at 15 points, which are in unexpected places and lead the audience to observe the environment from a different angle.

CONNECTING WITH THE COMMUNITY
This ambient project was initially created for the Belgrade Arboretum of the Faculty of Forestry, but it is so that it can be adapted to different spaces and contexts. Keeping its basic structure also offers the possibility to create new scenes that are specific to that situation.
The site-specific performance focuses on topics that concern the community, the environment and the relationship between society and art, making the community aware of the care and protection of the environment and encouraging it to take an active role.
The main mission of this project is to encourage community engagement in environmental care and protection, as well as decentralization of culture. That is why it was created so that it is easily achievable in small towns and smaller urban communities (such as Detelinara in Novi Sad).
