The DAH Theater concert-play deals with the theme of nostalgia and its influence on the cultural scene in the former Yugoslavia. Using the form of a concert as well as the musical heritage of a space that was once a unique cultural space, the possibility of the existence of a cultural space that is not limited by geographical and historical determinants, but made up of immeasurable experiences of sharing a common phantasm about the best country in the world, is explored. The musical heritage on the territory of our former country ranges from the original music that was transmitted orally and which is unfortunately disappearing, to modern music that includes the legendary new wave. A generation grew up on the wave of that music and formed its place in the cultural life of our country, and new generations are still inspired by the rapture of that moment.
The intention of this performance is to encourage us to reconsider how certain memories are "forbidden" to us, why nostalgia in our areas necessarily carries a negative connotation and how to continue to cherish and be proud of a part of our cultural tradition that has not succumbed to destruction and nationalism, such as the musical tradition.
