Jadranka Andjelic [1963]
Director, co-founder of the Dah Theater Center for Theater Research
He directs and develops activities at the Dah Theater Center for Theater Research. From its foundation in 1991 to 1997, it creates performances, programs and festivals, guest workshops, and theater meetings. From 1997-2002, he directed plays at the OM Theater in Denmark and other international projects such as LANDSCAPE of MEMORIES. 2003 – 2007 directed plays at the DAH Theater Center for Theater Research under the name Jadranka Andjelic Project [SEARCHERI, THE GLADING MIRROR] and created the activities of the Center with colleagues. Launches the long-standing DAH Theater project, In/Visible City, 2005.
In 2007/2008, she was the artistic director of MAPA Serbia, a project of the Mobile Academy of Performance Arts [Amsterdam-Netherlands]. Selector of the International Festival of New and Alternative Theater - INFANT in Novi Sad, Serbia in 2009 and 2010.
2008 – 2019, lived and worked in Brazil [Rio de Janeiro] where she created performances and festivals with
SEQUÊNCIA FILMES, MÚSICAS E CÊNICAS. Artistic director of the International Festival of Women in Performing Arts -
MULTICITY, in Rio de Janeiro in 2015 and 2018.
Since 2019, again at DAH, he directs and co-directs
performances, manages projects and creates DAH Theater programs together with the team.
Winner of the ARTSLink scholarship in the USA, New York. With Diana Milošević, she received recognition from Eugenia Barba, who shares his "Luigi Pirandello Award" with female directors in 1997. Winner of the Otto Rene Castillo Award in New York-USA for engaged theater (with Diana Milošević and Dah Teatro) in 2007, as well as the ERSTE Foundation INTEGRATION Award for the project Not/Vidlivi Grad, Dah Theater Center for Theater Research, in 2009.
With her performances and workshops, she toured many European countries, Brazil, Greenland, Mongolia, Morocco, New Zealand, USA, Singapore and Great Britain.
