European House Belgrade, Corner of Knez Mihailova and Zmaj Jovina, Sala Shuman. The duration of the film is 55 minutes and the film is followed by a discussion with the audience and a cocktail.
The film follows the development and implementation of the European cooperation project TREES, a journey through art, ecology and community under the leadership of DAH Theater (2024-2026). During two years, we gathered artists, educators and local communities with the aim of exploring the relationship https://evropskakuca.rs/izvestaj/prica-o-saradnji-pozorisnih-umetnika-evrope-u-borbi-za-ocuvanje-prirode/man and nature through contemporary artistic practices. Through performances, festivals, workshops, exchanges of experiences, research and public events, the project has opened up space for new knowledge, collaborations and creative approaches to sustainability. Special focus was on learning through practice, dialogue and art as a tool for social change. TREES reminded us that growing, connecting and caring for the environment is a shared process – just like a forest, which survives thanks to mutual support.
The film used materials recorded during the duration of the project, and the shooting in Serbia was done by Dragana Udovicic and Goran Srdanov, and post-production by Branislav Krstić.
The partners united in the project were organizations and theaters from Europe - PROTAGON from Germany, ACTION SYNERGY and AEROPLIO Theater from Greece, SMASHING TIMES from Ireland, GREENLAND FRITEATER from Norway, ATALAYA/TNT from Spain, ZID THEATER from the Netherlands and DAH Theater from Serbia as the main coordinator of the project.
The project was realized with the co-financing of the Creative Europe program of the European Union.
