A project in collaboration between DAH Teatar and the Magnet Association within the 11th Festival NA SOPSTVENI POGON 2025.

DAH Teatar will perform the environmental performance THE SECRET LIFE OF VELIKI PARK in Veliki Park in Veliki Gaj. The performance is performed as a guided walk through the green areas of the 18th-century Veliki Park, which is a park of national and natural importance and preserves capital specimens of pedunculate oak, ash, chestnut, and ginkgo trees over 200 years old.

In this performative walk at 15 points in the park, the audience encounters actors and dancers from DAH Teatar and attends scenes, audio and visual installations, and performances that are in unexpected places and encourage the audience to observe the environment from a different angle.

The site-specific performance focuses on topics related to the community, the environment, and the relationship between society and art, the importance and meaning of the natural environment, raising community awareness of environmental care and protection, and encouraging it to take an active role. This walk connects with the natural environment and reveals new knowledge about the surroundings.
