The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, together with local administrations, initiated the project “Serbia within Serbia” with the intention of initiating and reversing the cultural environment of Serbia. DAH Theatre recognized the importance of the project and supported the Ministry of Culture’s intention to change the existing centralized approach to cultural content in Serbia and replace it with a new one, embodied in a decentralized cultural network. Kultura u p(re)okretu!
DAH Theatre participated in the project during 2010, performing the play “The Story of Tea” and the children’s play “Two Grandmothers, Four Cats and a Scooter” in cities throughout Serbia, in order to present its work in new environments and to establish mutual cooperation.
The children’s play “Two Grandmothers, Four Cats and a Scooter” was performed in August 2010 in Soko Banja, Lapovo, and Vlasotince.
The play “The Story of Tea” was performed at the Kruševac Theatre and the Knjaževsko-Serbian Theatre (Kragujevac) in December 2010.
