The concert-performance of DAH Theater deals with the theme of nostalgia and its impact on the cultural scene in the area of the former Yugoslavia. Using the concert form as well as the musical heritage of the space that was once a unique cultural space, the possibility of the existence of a cultural space that is not limited by geographical and historical determinants, but is made up of immeasurable experiences of sharing a common phantasm about the best country in the world, is explored. [2011]

The musical heritage in the area of our former country ranges from original music that was transmitted orally and which, unfortunately, is disappearing, to modern music that includes the legendary new wave. A generation grew up on the wave of that music and formed its place in the cultural life of our country, and new generations are still inspired by the enthusiasm of that moment.

The intention of this performance is to encourage the re-examination of how much certain memories are “forbidden” to us, why nostalgia in our areas necessarily carries a negative connotation, and how to continue to nurture and be proud of a part of our cultural tradition that has not succumbed to destruction and nationalism, such as musical tradition
