A performance about the artistic collaboration and creative process between an actress and a director, which deals with the theme of missing people. A reflection on the strength and fragility of memory, on the meaning of disappearance and the possibility of transformation. The performance “Shivering of a Rose” deals with the memories kept by the families of the missing, especially women from those families. [2014]
The disappearances of loved ones are tragic events for families left in the dark, and their only comfort is the memories of the victims and the hope that everything will be resolved. The resolution process takes time, during which memories fade along with historical truths that, too, are forgotten and erased. Deep wounds caused by disappearances do not cease to undermine relations between groups and nations, sometimes decades after those disappearances, and prevent society from beginning the healing process. Art, and especially theatrical art, has the ability to record and somehow raise awareness of these efforts through the living word and presence in the performance.

“To say that DAH Teatar’s performance “Shivering of a Rose” is among the best in our theater does not mean much, or, perhaps – it means everything. The first concerns the poor state of our theater, and the second concerns the fact that despite everything (and despite everyone) – “a word is spoken”. (…) And this performance, fully conceived and precise, with a performing level that is a pearl of our theater, does not allow us to stop wondering. (…) This is a performance about bread and herbs, about bone and seed, a performance made by, watched by, and loved by those who will not stop wondering, who know what they do not want precisely because they themselves are one big – YES.” – Vladimir Kolarić, writer and film theorist
For the performance “Tremor of a Rose”, DAH Teatar was nominated for the prestigious “Teatro Nudo di Teresa Pomodoro” award in Milan [Italy].
