9 – 11. DECEMBER 2024
The Prologue and the Festival are conceived as platforms for initiating and presenting ideas and concepts that prioritize and connect art and human rights, advocate for equal human rights and peacebuilding, as well as the development of this idea
in Serbia.
THINKING PEACE
This year, we are organizing the Prologue for three days, 9, 10. and 11 December, on the theme of “Thinking Peace,” which is also the theme of the Festival. How to think about peace in a time of numerous conflicts, and what are the characteristics of peace that is not just the absence of war, are some of the topics
we are considering through art. We have the opportunity to talk online with artists from Palestine and Lebanon about their artistic practice in war zones. The “Art and Human Rights” Festival with its Prologue affirms art in
the process of raising awareness of the culture of human rights and encourages the development of lasting concern and commitment in the fight against human rights violations.
